These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Wayfind mobile application and website (the "Service"), operated by Wayfind ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Wayfind. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you should have permission from a parent or guardian.
2. Your Account
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@wayfind.city if you believe your account has been compromised.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any regulations.
- Upload or share content that is harmful, offensive, or infringes on others' rights.
- Attempt to reverse engineer, hack, or disrupt the Service.
- Use automated tools, bots, or scrapers to access the Service.
- Impersonate any person or entity.
- Share access to your account with others in a way that circumvents intended usage.
4. User Content
You retain ownership of any content you create within Wayfind (trips, activities, notes). By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to store and process your content solely to provide the Service to you.
You are responsible for any content you submit, including booking emails you forward. Do not submit confidential information belonging to others without their consent.
5. AI-Generated Content
Wayfind uses artificial intelligence to generate itinerary suggestions. AI-generated content is provided for informational purposes only. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of any AI-generated suggestion. Always verify important travel information (opening hours, prices, visa requirements) through official sources before travelling.
6. Third-Party Services
The Service integrates with third-party services including Google Maps, OpenAI, and Apple Maps. Your use of these services is governed by their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the actions, availability, or content of third-party services.
7. Intellectual Property
All intellectual property rights in the Service — including the Wayfind name, logo, design, and software — are owned by us. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the Service without our written permission.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from viruses or other harmful components. Your use of the Service is at your own risk.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Wayfind shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including loss of profits, data, or goodwill — arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total liability to you for any claims arising under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid to us (if any) in the 12 months preceding the claim.
10. Account Termination
You may delete your account at any time from within the app. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with or without notice.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the updated Terms with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction.
